The resonance of praise and the conviction of worship have anchored the Body of Christ for generations.

In that same manner, through the understanding and embodiement of the Word of God, many find solace from one sacred promise - Romans 8:28.

The Story of 828

In 2022, Pastor Aaron Macklin helped amplify a unified move of prayer around Romans 8:28— the promise that all things work together for those who love God. Believers across the nation gathered on corners, online, and in sanctuaries on 8/28, creating one sound and sharing the bold declaration that All Things Work Together #ATWT. The scripture was then set to melody in 2024 as Pastor Aaron released the song "All Things".

Now the journey continues with The Sound of 828 — a live sing-along recording in Hayward, Ca happening 8/28. Voices will rise together singing songs of Zion that have brought hope, salvation, and redemption to millions. With the congregation as the choir, The Sound of 828 will echo the promise of Romans 8:28 as participants are encouraged through Hymn and song alike to 'press on' and hold fast to the confessions of our faith as believers.

'828' and #ATWT carry a banner for this generation - not as a trend, but as a shared declaration by those who love the Lord. Through singing, posting, praying or wearing, you're able to step into the movement and declare to the nations that all things, indeed, work together.

Wear the promise, carry the faith
